November Luncheon - Insight and updates from the Clerk's Office

Date: Tuesday, November 10, 2020
Time: 12:00pm - 1:00pm
Location: Virtual Meeting
Speaker: Stacey Mininsohn

For our next and final luncheon of the year, we are very excited to have the following representatives from the Charlotte County Clerk of the Circuit Court's team: Stacey Mininsohn who is the Criminal Courts Director and our main speaker, David Lane who is the Chief Information Officer, and Crystal Henderson who is the Official Records Director.

Their discussion will focus on the many duties and responsibilities performed by the Clerk's Office, technical and business improvements that have been implemented, and new and upcoming technologies such as eNotary and eWill.

Stacy, as the Criminal Courts Director for the Charlotte County Clerk of Court and County Comptroller, oversees daily partnering with Judges, Court Administration personnel, the Sheriff’s office and other law enforcement agencies, the State Attorney, defense attorneys, and the Probation Department, in service to the public.

Stacey is a graduate of the University of South Florida and Saint Peters College, holding degrees in Criminology and Banking & Finance. She is a voting member of the Florida Court Clerks and Comptrollers Assessment and Collections Advisory Board, a Certified Florida Records Manager, has participated in the Academy of Leadership Excellence, and has expertise in Court case management systems.

Stacey and her husband of 25 years raised their two “kids” in Southwest Florida — their daughter is a Fundraising Director in Washington, D.C., and their son is a student at Cornell University. Her two other family members are rescue dogs Henry and Lola.

Stacey has experienced great fulfillment and joy in helping to lead a number of projects with the Animal Welfare League of Charlotte County, which include events like Roger’s Rescue and the Kitten Shower.

Our Charlotte County Clerk's Office is staffed by men and women who do an amazing job in not only supporting the many Charlotte County residents and professionals who rely on their services but also in supporting our community through their generous volunteer work and by being actively involved in where they live. We are grateful to have three speakers from the Clerk’s Office speaking at our November Luncheon and are looking forward to their presentation as well as hearing from all of our members. As always we hope everyone is doing well and staying safe.
